NEEDLES:
pair in size US 9 [5.5 mm] / set dpns in sizes US 9 and 11 [5.5 and 8 mm]
GAUGE:
16 sts = 4″ [10 cm] and 34 rows = 2″ [5 cm] in basket stitch with smaller needles /Â 18 sts and 14 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in star pattern with larger needles
